2020 Guadalupe Covid closure

The 2020 Guadalupe shark season was scheduled to be one of our biggest ever…sadly due to the worldwide pandemic, officials and operators were forced to close Guadalupe Island to shark diving. With a heavy heart, unfortunately we were then left with no choice but to cancel our season.

2019 marked the 10th season of SDX running trips to Guadalupe Island, wow, where has that time gone?! 2018 Guadalupe shark season

2017 was our biggest season ever running trips to Guadalupe…..could 2018 be even bigger!? You bet it could! We scheduled 14 trips in total, running later than ever before and just a few days before Christmas! 2017 Guadalupe Island season review

2017 was our 8th year of running trips to Guadalupe and each year we are as excited as ever to get underway. 2016 was a superb year for both big females and numbers of sharks…how would 2017 compare? Regular trips ran from mid September to mid November, private charters ran from mid November to December then, the season was rounded off by spending 10 days filming for Discovery channel. 2016 had began better than any season to date…the question was, could we keep up this incredible average? We had seen big females earlier than any past year and one shark, “Scarboard” was making a real name for herself.
