Bruce shark profile

Bruce is the rock star of the shark world. He has been seen for over 15 years at Guadalupe and from being first spotted as a sub adult, he has gone on to become one of the largest male sharks you are likely to ever meet.

With a personality to match his size, Bruce steals the show every time he visits the boat.

This is the shark all our guests want to meet. When he was younger he was a regular visitor to the boat however, as he has got older (and considerably larger) he spends less time interacting with us often keeping us in eager anticipation to spot him again each year.

When he does appear both our guests and our crew get very excited as he gives a fantastic display to our divers, swimming very close, circling the cages and almost performing for the cameras. Over the years we have seen him chasing both seals and turtles and often turns up each year with fresh battle scarring from other sharks.  A true star that once met is never forgotten.
